Pass Labs X0.2 初步聆聽報告:

X0.2 已經開了聲超過48小時, 這是部需要有足夠熱身才能有表現的前級. 在開聲未足24小時前我真是有些失望...原因是低頻唔見咗 人地話依部机叫彭彭聲...我睇落似我自已dump自已dump到彭彭聲...

應該是不只如斯表現罷...話晒都係Pass Labs 嘅 reference級前置, 雖然 Pass Labs 不是以前級聞名, 但點都有D貨交吓討既...唯有耐心地等..放隻CD長開..把門閉上, 也難為了對XA-160把室內温度升了不少. 經過近30小時後再聽...

我用前級這麽多年, 也玩過不少名牌..但熱身之後表現之不同者, 算X0.2為之最. 首先它的音場很闊和深, 樂器的形狀對比合稱, 距離也準確. 人聲比較近, 咀形啱...背景極之寧靜, 細節很豐富. 當全頻起動時非常平均, 在細音壓下表現很稱職, 我最感滿意是它的舞台寬度真的是穿牆而出...

音色方面: 我的組合一向都有高音較亮的問題, 這因為是X-01的聲底關係, 我也是原先有點担心X-0.2會加劇這方面的問題...但事實卻出乎我意料之外 高頻非常平滑, 從前的尖角位磨平咗 原先唔見咗嘅低頻..彭彭聲出返嚟..好乾淨嘅低音, 快,靚, 正..這本來就是XA-160之功, 但拍上X-0.2就更加能收放得而. 中頻也比我想像中來得甜厚, 這也是因為純A後級功力.

在音色上X-0.2顯然不及ARC Ref2..但在整體平衡度和兩極的順暢度..X-0.2比ARC稍高..中頻本就是胆之强項, 但結像力晶體机也板回一城. 在聽蔡琴時...明顯地X-0.2把咀形收準..還有背景噪音也是胆机望塵莫及.

現在我這個是橙, 理應忘記昨天的蘋果...而且這個橙才剛剛到手, 只是索吓陣味...皮都末開...還要時間. 我睇我極之需要搬到樓下...在閣樓上有伸展不開之感.

有一點我必須要更正: 在音色上X-0.2不及ARC Ref2..似乎對一部全新只開聲二天的前級是有點不公平...不竟從前的Ref2是部完全成熟的机器. 而且在我的腦中Ref2的影子也太深. 應該用一種新的態度來評價X-0.2. 兩者是完全不同味道的女人, 不能混在一起來品評.

Thank you so much for your sharing with real heart!!

I was also a Ref 2 Mk 2 user but recently changed to Cello Suite to match the Performance power amps.

It is an interesting experience, as the Ref 2 had been with me for 2 yrs plus.

I miss the ref 2 for its mid range, presence and convenience, but the Suite's sound stage width and depth are way beyond that of the Ref 2. The signature Cello dynamic range is also something that the tube Ref 2 cannot match.

As for others pre-amp, I like the Burmester 808 mk 5 very much, just so real life like, and the silent, dark background is really something else......I heard the 011 but it is really much inferior to the 808..different beast altogether.

Cannot afford the 808 mk 5, but was trying to bid a Mk3 from Germany. Lost the bid, and that went for US$5600.

I am now using Powersnake Anaconda Helix Vx for the X-01, its detailed and analytical.

Have tried using Rubyhill before but the highs seems to be cut when the Rubyhill is plugged in ...... maybe the characteristic of rubyhill does not match my system...

Ruby Hill G6 似乎唔多適合轉盤用, 在前級和DAC的表現較突出些.

I use the old NBS Professional III with my P-70, it is the best match. (I tried several ... cheaper/dearer power cords in the shop, and at home, Professional III is all round winner). But I didn't try Anaconda Helix Vx.
