
the simple rule of setting speaker sound level is 75dB for front, center & surr (some ppl like to add 2-3dB on surr) and 85dB for sub. But in real-life situation, some (but not all) of the speakers will be placed at the corners, which caused a boost in bass level...
thus, the bass effect at those speakers (e.g. explosion, engine etc) will become exceptionally loud if I tune the sound level at 75dB

however, if I reduce the sound level of the corner speakers to fit the bass level, other sound (e.g. dialog) become exceptionally quiet

What will you do to tackle that?
