How about lexicon?

Lexicon MC-12 uses Dual Mono DAC (24 Bit / 192kHz) for Each Channel

MC-12 是 7.3 Channel 輸出 --> 即共 10 個 Channel

每 Channel 用一粒 Stereo DAC，即最少用上 10 粒 DAC



但唔知用乜品牌及型號

待我去 Official Forum 打聽下

Lexicon 舊的 MC-12 與最新的 MC-12HD，均用同一粒 DAC

Analog Devices AD1853 (117dB SNR 24 Bit / 192kHz) Stereo DAC

用了 10 粒 Stereo DAC，每粒供 1 個 Channel (Dual Mono Mode)



Lexicon 也同用了 8 粒 Analog Devices ADSP-21065L SHARC® DSP Engine

及 Cirrus Logic Crystal 49326 Audio DSP

一般日系主流高級机種用 3 粒 SHARC® DSP Engine

Lexicon MC-12 是 2003年推出，當年已用 10 粒 24Bit / 192kHz DAC

經過多年 Upgrade

MC-12 V2 (軟件升級)
MC-12 V3 (軟件升級)
MC-12 V4 EQ (加 EQ Card 硬件升級)
MC-12 V5 EQ (軟件升級)
MC-12 V5.25 EQ (軟件升級)

MC-12HD V1 (加 HDMI 硬件升級)
MC-12HD V2 (軟件升級)

MC-12 V1 --> MC-12HD V2 音頻解碼部份，仍無改變



我的 MC-12B V5 EQ 也只作軟件升級至 MC-12B V5.25 EQ

因用 Analog 輸入，MC-12HD 新加的 HDMI 對我無乜用

故無由 MC-12B V5.25 EQ 升級至 MC-12HD

待下次 Lexicon 再推全新架構的机種取代 MC-12HD 才作考慮



Pioneer BDP-09FD --> 5.1 Analog --> Lexicon MC-12B V5.25 EQ 效果仍是不錯

I do not know.

However, according to Todd, they are now developing a new machine to replace the MC-12HD.

But they also express that the HDMI is moving too fast for them to cope with.



Let's wait & see.



This is why I am interested in knowing anyone within AV100Fun that using the latest Mark Levinson No.502 Media Console which is similar to or slightly more advanced than MC-12HD V2.

I really like to listen and audit its performance.
