去到機場當然是claim GST
佢地用自動機，掃passport, 掃單，好簡單
有六部機，每部得兩個人，應該好快

點知
排左一兩分鐘後，出事
六部機都無人搞得掂
個個左按右按
再過七八分鐘，都無人搞完
還好再過多幾分鐘，，終於到我
一分鐘搞掂


排隊排左十幾分鐘搞兩張單，前面其實得一條友


最搞野係，有三個關員，眼光光望住班友，但無幫手

An hour is no big deal. In Summer time peak travel season, you need to spare at least two hours to get your GST money back leaving at Heathrow.

Not necessarily. If you go for credit card refund, it takes much faster but of course, not so secure. Cash refund at the spot is a guaranteed money back, but the queue is Long Long Long!

It was our experience of 2010 Summer at Heathrow. After queuing for more than one and a half hour, we knew that there was no chance we could catch the flight if we kept going. We finally switched to credit card refund, for which no queuing was required.

Seeing the young lady standing outdoor with our claim forms, invoices on her clipboard flipping in the strong wind, we had no faith of getting our money back.

Luckily, two months after returning to Hong Kong, the refund did show up in the credit card statement.
