I had buy it, THANKS a lot!

i was misleading by Raymond's pics which showed 2 sets of 2500, i thought one of them is for u.

I buy two set of Yamaha DSP AX-2500 at TLAV. One for myself and one for RomRom.

However, I just buy one unit of Transformer for myself as RomRom still consulting other brothers for better choice.

Anyway, he later buy my previous local 600W one. But unluckily, it did not work for Yamaha but work for his Victor DHX2. Hence, he need to buy the same Matsunaga 1500W as mine for his Yamaha AV Amp.

Raymond this is very dangerous,

After the Yamaha overload it, the fuse broken!!


I change to a new fuse and try to switch on, it broken again!!

I check it with my Multi-meter, find that the curcuit was SHORTED!!

I believe you should choose the transformer AT LEAST 50% more than enough, >100% is better. I'm currently using a 2000W transformer for my 100V Yamaha A1 amp.

Have you or other brothers try other equipment with this transformer...wonder if Subwoofer or power amp can sound ok?

I am not an expert in transformer and actually I know nothing about the selection. I choose this Japan-made transformer from various types & models based on the recommendations from the shop that I purchased.

In the past, I also used a Japanese Victor Subwoofer with a local made 600W transformer. The performance is acceptable.

If you want better expert advice, please PM Ronnie Lam who use plenty of the transformer for his AV stuff.
