Now I'm in Honolulu (again in a Apple Store) and will fly to "Big Island" tomorrow. My inital plan is to visit the Subaru Telescope which is located high up on the mountain (13xxx feet)!! I seen this telescope many times in Pearl programs.
However after checking their web site subarutelescope.org I realize that I had to rent a 4x4 to drive up there (3 hours one way including a stop to acustom to the low oxygen level at high attitude). I was a bit nervous so I decide just to see the active volcano there. I was afraid that the low oxygen level may damage my brain and may result in seeing a lot of "RAINBOW EFFECT" when watching DLP projector
One thing to you guys. My rental car lincense plate number in Maui end with "197". Same number as my AV100 membership number!!!!
In Maui, I drive up to a mountain at over 10000 feet to see a "dead" volcano crater. I also take a drive to a so-call Hana Highway which they said is very beautiful. But I find it a total waste of time and is very dangerous.
