我的朋友家中的聲學處理，將是針對解决問題及改善下手，

包括:駐波處理 (Bass Trap)、吸音處理 (Absorption)、擴散處理 (Diffusion)

會在四角、牆身、天花及地面也會有一些動作，

他預算找些有此經驗及知識的友人幫助，

我會積極向他了解及學習，希望也有得着，可以弄弄我自己的陋室！

MK Sound 現在是丹麥公司，但產品均在中國制做的，質量方面，我則不太清楚了！

I heard both the MK and M&K S150, no difference, same design, it would make the difference if just they are made in China. However, i like the new MK paint finish.

Right, the quality is not related to made in china or not, but it should have different between current and previous.

and MK now is sweden or denmark's corp?

現在中國生產的品牌是 MK SOUND，據稱單元用中國制的次級 Vifa 系列

以前美國生產的品牌是 M&K SOUND，單元用丹麥制的高級 Peerless 系列




美國生產的品牌是 M&K SOUND S150 高音單元


現在中國生產的品牌是 MK SOUND S150 高音單元，
中間多了4顆螺絲，沒有 Miller & Kreisel 字樣了，吸音綿也不同了！

After searching the Internet, sending a few e-mails, and making a couple of calls, I was able to determine that the blown out M & K drivers were probably made by a Danish company, Peerless, and that even though that company still makes drivers, they don't make the one the M & K modified for the original S5000 speaker. They do make a driver that would fit in the existing speaker, but that Vifa makes a better driver that would also fit. I was advised to get 6 Vifa PL18 W009 and replace the drivers in ALL the speakers so that they matched. I did that. While the result is satisfactory, it is no where near the quality of the original sound. The sound is brighter, tin-ier, higher pitched, S's almost have a sibling S quality, and they just don't sound as FULL or as DEEP, as they used to.
