I have checked this China brand "TeraDak" before, but have not bought from them.

Please note, the transformers that they adopted are used (2nd hand) with many re-connection wiring laps.

Besides, the circuits are not better than those from Taiwan.

Furthermore, the price is not very cheap and no user comments can be found.

The audio quality within the HiFi system will be benefited from replacing the Switching Power Supply to Linear Power Supply.

Please note Switching Power Supply will generate noisy signals to interfere the Audio Signals as well as passing noise back to your Main AC Power Supply affecting other HiFi equipment.

Therefore, this is the reason why audiophile will try to avoid using Switching Power Supply for their HiFi related gears as well as within the HiFi Power Network. If switching power supply is going to use, it will be used in other power network separated from the HiFi power grid. Please also note the HomePlug is a switching power supply with high level of noise, so one should try to avoid the use of HomePlug within the HiFi power network.



You are correct, the most significant improvement of using the Linear Power Supply is at the source where the audio signal is coming from. However, any enhancement along the Audio Path will also be enhanced if you change all the related switching power supply to linear power supply.



Although my HiFi power grids (for Linn DS / Mark Levinson Preamp / Krell Power Amp) are dedicated and already separated from the LAN Network power grids (for NAS / Router / Switch), I still try to use linear power supply for all the Network related gears. The actions and intention are trying to avoid any noise contamination to the HiFi system affecting the musical quality and purity.

Hence,

Yu-Studio 12V/10A --> NAS
KECES DC-116 12V/3A --> Router
KECES DC-116 9V/3A --> Switch

In fact, a reasonably good quality Linear Power Supply is not expensive when comparing to any of the accessories within the HiFi system. Therefore, it is worthwhile to be considered if you are serious audiophile on stereo system.



After using Linear Power Supply to minimize the noise and disruptive interference (EMI & RF) within the power line to the Audio Signal, the next step is to minimize the noise interference within the LAN cable connections (I already used Screened Foiled Twisted Pair S/FTP LAN CAT7 Sanwa cable). Hence, I will try to use the media converter on doing LAN Isolation to further refinement of the HiFi system.

Hows your experience with linear psu on nas, router and switch??

I have also paid for a pair of fibre media converters to do the isolation to my chain...
at the same time ordered another Teddy for these converters....
hope the price would worth...
