First, I am not a high hand. Just a beginner to share some experience.
So I finally have time to hook up everything and watched 'the incredibles' yesterday. I first put it in the corner of the living room to start with. The channel level is adjusted with sound pressure meter. I watched the whole movie with volume level -13db on avamp. No 拍邊 happened during the whole movie. Very good deep bass, not punchy, but deep with energy. But position is very important for this woofer. when I place it in the corner of the room, the bass feels deeper, but might be cause by slight booming of wall. The bass in this position is slower. bass stays in the room longer.

As I said early, my wife is complaining the woofer is taking up the living room space, so I need to make another TV rack in order to put the woofer under the TV. At 4pm, TV rack is delivered and I need to hook up everything again from the start. After moving all gears and woofer there, play the movie, and first thing I noticed is the bass is faster in response, no more booming, but feels not as deep as before (not sure the deep bass is booming of the wall). I haven't try to adjust the phase yet, but I need to increase the volume little bit higher than before. I would say depends on what type of bass you want, you need to change the position in order to match your taste. Now, after moving to this position, the energy seems higher and we can feel a bit of bass from the sofa when we sit on it. My friend said the leather of the sofa gives a little shaking response. The bass is cleaner, and with more details.

my brother brought the subwoofer from US for me, so no need to pay for the shipping, yeah . I would say the shipping should be around $1k. So together the woofer if ordered and shipped should be around $5k.

SVS from USA --> 110V or 220V ??

When I ordered it, I told SVS to config to 220v, but after they shipped it, they told me that they forgot. And they immediately send a 220v config amp to me with a t-shirt. very good service.
