But it is more important to consider and provide proper room acoustic treatment to your home theatre.

I didn't compare it at the same evironment and same setup, overall, I have the generic feeling:

SVS: 量感多, can produce low low frequency

M&K: 快, "很", 準



For me, I wish I can have 1 MK and 1 SVS at the same time

For Bing Bomb booming, like War of the World, I prefer SVS

For Gun, like Saving Private Ryan, I prefer MK

Tuning more than 1 subwoofer, no matter it is same brand or sam product or not............is very difficult.

For a large listening area, and a good subwoofer, maybe no need for EQ.

But for multiple sub, small listening area, EQ is highly recommended.

EQ will do more good than harm if you know what you are doing. I think at this moment, only 米糕, c2c, rookie and I use external EQ. Other brothers using Velodyne has internal EQ, and they all said EQ help them a lot.

jjj already said you can use m&k for 40hz and above, and use SVS for 40hz and below
